In week 8 of 2026 (16–22 Feb), the EU's RASFF system recorded 84 notifications affecting food and feed imports: 16 border rejections, 21 alerts, and 47 information notices. The most-affected origin countries were China, Italy and Poland.
56 of this week's notifications concerned products that had reached the EU market; 10 led to a recall from consumers.
