RASFF Trends — EU Border-Rejection Density Change YoY by Country and Commodity

What it is. Live tracker of EU border-rejection trends from the official RASFF Window RASFF = Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed. The EU's mechanism for cross-border food and feed safety alerts, run by the European Commission since 1979. Border rejection — consignment refused at the EU border. Alert — serious risk found in product already on the EU market. Information — cross-border issue without immediate market action. The RASFF Window is the public search interface. National authorities of the 27 EU member states plus EFTA file notifications into it; this dashboard pulls live data daily. . Origin countries shaded by chosen metric; click a country (or a row in the leaderboard) to drill into quarterly history and recent notifications.

How to use. The default lens is per $1B YoY Δ ⭑ — change in rejection density vs the same period one year ago, with EU-import value as the denominator (so a country that simply trades more doesn't dominate). Pick a period and a category (or subcategory) to scope the comparison; switch Color by to fall back to absolute counts or the simpler % deltas when you need them.
