In week 40 of 2025 (29 Sep–5 Oct), the EU's RASFF system recorded 101 notifications affecting food and feed imports: 27 border rejections, 27 alerts, and 47 information notices. The most-affected origin countries were China, Netherlands and Turkey.
60 of this week's notifications concerned products that had reached the EU market; 18 led to a recall from consumers.
